Dexter's interest in the arts started at an early age when he joined The Plough Youth Theatre, under the direction of Rob Pudner, where he stayed for eight years. During that time he performed in number of productions including leading roles in the South West Amateur Premiere of Disney's Beauty And The Beast, Oh! What A Lovely War and Scrooge The Musical and was part of a company that took a production to Poland as part of the International Festival of Theatre.
Most recently he was recently involved in a production of Frankenstein: The Musical, where he played the lead of Frankenstein’s Creature which toured to the Exeter Northcott.
Dexter left college with a Triple Distinction for a National Diploma in Performing Arts, also achieving another Distinction Grade for a National Award in Musical Theatre.
